This is a quick all purpose rub that is versatile and can be used on anything – duck, tri-tip, brisket, cauliflower, anything that hits the grill. And its made from items you’re likely to have in your pantry!

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons Diamond Crystal kosher salt (NOT table salt!!!)
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried or ground thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients into a spice shaker.
  2. Put the lid on. Shake up to mix.
  3. Liberally add onto items you plan to grill. Enjoy!
